Position Summary Supply Chain Coordinator
supports the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract.
Position Responsibilities
Coordinate with suppliers/vendors on orders, deliveries, and shipping schedules, and resolve any issues or discrepancies, including return material authorizations (RMAs).
Support purchase planning by liaising with project managers and engineers, assisting with development of cost rough order of magnitude (ROMs) and submitting work orders.
Collaborate with internal buyers to obtain quotes from vendors.
Collaborate with various internal teams (procurement, contracts, finance, etc.) and external stakeholders (suppliers/vendors, etc.).
Maintain active lines of communication with suppliers/vendors regarding order issues, including order configurations and technical issues.
Ensure compliance with all regulations and laws governing supply chain activities.
Analyze supply chain data, identify areas for improvement, and prepare reports for management.
Identify and resolve issues within the supply chain, such as delays, shortages, or quality problems.
Candidate Attributes
Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
Excellent organizational skills managing multiple tasks and deadlines.
Excellent problem‑solving skills identifying and resolving supply chain issues.
Excellent analytical skills for data analysis and improvement identification.
Minimum Qualifications
7 or more years of general full‑time work experience (may be reduced with advanced education).
5 or more years of directly related experience.
Knowledge of Supply Chain Management and Procurement.
Active DoD Secret Security Clearance (or obtainable).
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with government contracts under FAR and DFARS regulations.
Experience with supply chain software and familiarity with relevant procurement tools.
Compensation Payment:
$30,000/hr - $35,000/hr;
depending on experience, education, and certifications directly related to the position.
