Project Leader in Business Intelligence
Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled Project Leader in Business Intelligence with 6+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, and advanced reporting. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing dashboards, optimizing data pipelines, and enabling enterprise-wide data-driven decision-making. This role requires strong expertise in SQL, Power BI, Tableau, SSIS/SSR/SSIS DataBricks, DataLakes, DataFactory, and experience with cloud platforms and data governance.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI, Tableau, and Oracle BI tools.
Build and optimize ETL pipelines (SSIS, T-SQL) to improve data load performance and reporting accuracy.
Partner with stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into scalable data solutions.
Implement self-service BI capabilities to reduce ad-hoc reporting requests.
Support data governance initiatives, KPI standardization, and cross-department reporting alignment.
Conduct statistical analysis and data modeling to support business operations and strategic initiatives.
Manage and administer SQL Server, SSRS infrastructure, and BI platforms.
Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA), descriptive statistics, and trend analysis to identify business patterns and opportunities.
Proven knowledge and experience working with ServiceNow, Power BI, SharePoint and customer-specific analytic tools.
Advanced skills in MS Excel are also highly desirable.
Required Skills & Qualifications
5+ years of experience as a Data Analyst / BI Analyst / BI Developer.
Strong skills in SQL Server, T-SQL, SSIS, SSRS, SSAS.
Expertise in Power BI, Oracle FDI/OTBI/BIP, DOMO.
Proficiency in Python and R for data analysis and automation.
Hands-on experience with data governance, KPI development, and metadata standardization.
Familiarity with Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform, and data warehousing concepts.
Strong problem-solving, documentation, and stakeholder communication skills.
Excellent problem-solving, documentation, and stakeholder communication skills.
Ability to create executive-level reports, dashboards, and storytelling visualizations for business leaders.
Strong background in data security, compliance, and governance best practices.
Exposure to UI/UX concepts for dashboard design and improving end-user adoption.
Certifications (Preferred)
