Position Overview Northrop Grumman Space Systems—Launch and Missile Defense Systems offer an excellent opportunity for a Computer Operations Analyst—Regional Computer Operations Support Analyst (COSA) (25-538) to join our team of skilled and diverse professionals. Based at Schriever Space Force Base in Colorado Springs, CO, this role plays a crucial part in supporting the U.S. President, the Secretary of Defense, and combatant commanders at strategic, regional, and operational levels. This position does not include relocation support and requires on-site presence with no remote work options.
Essential Functions
Will provide first-level technical support to the warfighter and perform initial troubleshooting of all local C2BMC hardware, software, and networks
They will document and report all events and issues to the CWO and receive tasks and guidance from the CCC for all operations, testing, and real‑world events
Will assist in hardware and software installations as directed by local SMEs and create and manage user accounts as instructed by the local ISSO
This position will primarily focus on lab and test activities
Basic Qualifications Please list your current security clearance and IAT or relevant certifications on your resume, if applicable.
A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field from an accredited university is preferred, along with 2 years of experience; or a Master’s degree in a related field with 0 years of relevant work experience; or 6 years of relevant work experience may be considered as an alternative to a degree
Applicants must have a current, active in-scope DoD‑issued Secret security clearance at the time of application, which is required to start with the ability to obtain TS/SCI security clearance
Applicants must possess a current, active DoD 8140 certification at IAT Level II or higher (such as Security+, GSEC, SCNP, SSCP, CISSP, CISA, GSE, SCNA, etc.) at the time of application, which is required to start. The candidate is responsible for maintaining their DoD 8140 certification throughout the entire contract period
The position involves rotating 24/7 shift work. The candidate will be assigned to a specific shift and either Ops or Training, depending on mission needs. Some substitutions during off‑shifts, including nights and weekends, might be required
Strong background and experience in the operation and maintenance of large‑scale computer and communication systems or networking environments
Solid background and experience in system and/or network administration that includes:
UNIX
Linux
Windows
Cisco
Juniper
Strong background and experience in troubleshooting hardware and software components
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Preferred Qualifications
Applicants with a current, active in-scope DoD‑issued TS/SCI security clearance at the time of application are strongly preferred
Experience and knowledge of C2BMC Systems or Missile Defense Systems are preferred

Additional Northrop Grumman Information Primary Level Salary Range: $73,900.00 - $110,900.00. The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate’s experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
