Job Summary The Maintenance Manager leads maintenance operations at our Bakery Feeds facility, where bakery residuals are converted into high‑quality animal feed through a grinding and drying processes. This role oversees a crew of three maintenance employees and supports a 24‑hour, 3‑shift production operation.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities
Lead, schedule, and supervise a maintenance team of 3 technicians
Ensure efficient operation of grinding, drying, conveying and material handling equipment
Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and process issues
Maintain maintenance records and ensure proper use of CMMS software
Collaborate with production and other departments on equipment needs and improvements
Manage spare parts inventory and maintenance budget
Coordinate with external contractors and vendors as needed
Enforce all safety and compliance requirements across maintenance activities
All other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or GED (Technical training or associate degree preferred)
5+ years of industrial maintenance experience, including mechanical and electrical systems
2+ years of supervisory or team leadership experience
Familiarity with CMMS systems and preventive maintenance strategies
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Willingness to work off‑hours or respond to emergency calls when necessary
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with grinding, drying, conveying or similar process equipment
