The bilingual (Spanish) HR Administrative Assistant will assist a variety of HR administrative tasks and services to support effective and efficient operations of the organization’s human resource department. The HR Administrative Assistant will have the opportunity to assist with a wide range of projects related to HR onboarding, records management, data entry, and benefits administration. This position is an in-office position located in Gilbert, Arizona. Loenbro conducts pre-employment drug and alcohol screenings. Job Duties: Onboards new employees in a professional and courteous manner. Maintains accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation. Answers frequently asked questions from applicants and employees relative to standard policies, benefits, hiring processes, etc.; refers more complex questions to appropriate senior-level HR staff or management. Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records. Performs periodic audits of HR files and records to ensure that all required documents are collected and filed appropriately. Provides clerical support to the HR department. May assist with payroll functions including processing, answering employee questions, and fixing processing errors. Acts as a liaison between the organization and external benefits providers and vendors, which may include health, disability, and retirement plan providers. Conducts or assists with new hire orientation. Assists with planning and execution of special events such as benefits enrollment, organization-wide meetings, employee recognition events, holiday parties, and retirement celebrations. Performs other duties as assigned. Skills/Qualifications: Minimum of 3 years of relevant human resources work experience, preferably within the construction industry Must be bilingual with the ability to read, write and speak Spanish and English fluently Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development or a related field preferred Must maintain strict confidentiality at all times Excellent communication skills, both oral and written Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software systems Prior experience using payroll management, human resource information system (HRIS), and similar computer applications Excellent organizational skills Must be able to multitask and prioritize tasks Meticulous attention to detail Willingness and eagerness to assist the team Aptitude to handle stressful situations while maintaining a calm and professional approach Ability to travel on occasion Benefits:
