Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Human Resources Administrative Assistant to support key HR functions. This role will focus on maintaining accurate employee records, assisting with onboarding and offboarding processes, and providing administrative support for employee transitions. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong interpersonal skills and a solid foundation in HR practices.
Responsibilities
Update and maintain Excel spreadsheets with employee information. Assist with administrative tasks related to converting temporary employees to full-time/direct status. Respond to employee inquiries regarding onboarding, paperwork, password resets, and general HR assistance. Provide administrative support during employee terminations. Collaborate with the HR team to ensure smooth and efficient employee lifecycle processes. Assist with and support event planning. Occasionally support 2nd shift HR needs as required.
Essential Skills
High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum of 2 years of experience in Human Resources, including internships. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently. Self-motivated with a proactive, “go-getter” attitude.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Previous education or training in Human Resources is preferred. Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and support different shifts as needed.
Work Environment
This position is based in an office environment attached to a manufacturing setting. The role requires comfort with entering the manufacturing floor when necessary to speak with employees. The standard schedule is Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, with flexibility available for those who prefer a second shift (12 PM to 7 PM). Assistance with the second shift at times is greatly beneficial.

This is a Contract position based out of Spring Hill, Tennessee.
Pay And Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $27.00/hr.
