REGISTRAR CLERK (FULL-TIME, TEMPORARY, POOL) at Del Mar College - Corporate Services. This position provides clerical and reception support to the Office of the Registrar and related department activities. Responsibilities include answering the phone, directing callers and visitors, processing forms and correspondence, filing, ordering and maintaining office supplies and equipment, and researching and verifying information. Answer the phone, take messages, and refer callers as appropriate. Refer visitors to other departments and areas of the college. Maintain calendars, visitor logs and appointment records; receive and distribute mail; compose correspondence and maintain document files. Process information such as graduation applications, requests for classes or transcripts, and class or transcript fees. Enter information into records storage systems and files. Verify and submit forms or documents to other offices, including student data, time-sheet information, special program information, class schedules or tuition information. May supervise or act as lead worker for student volunteers or employees, maintaining time and attendance records, volunteer hours or payroll submissions for review and approval. Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or GED equivalency. Six months office/clerical related experience. Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Computer literate in Word, Excel, and Outlook. Attention to detail and accuracy. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work in a high profile, fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications
