Trusts & Estates Paralegal
We are seeking an experienced
Trusts & Estates Paralegal
to support attorneys with estate planning, trust administration, and probate matters. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in trust funding, estate tax filings, and client case management.
Key Responsibilities
Draft and file probate pleadings and estate planning documents.
Prepare Gift (709), Estate (706), and Fiduciary Income (1041) Tax Returns.
Maintain trust financial records; reconcile broker statements and perform trust accounting.
Administer revocable and irrevocable trusts, pre- and post-death.
Work closely with clients, advisors, and internal teams.
Manage client files, databases, and electronic case folders.
Ensure timely, high-quality work product and meet billable-hour requirements.
Qualifications
5+ years of Trusts & Estates experience preferred.
Bachelor's or ABA-approved Paralegal Certificate preferred.
Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with GEMS, BNA, ProSystems, or EVP a plus.
Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Corporate and/or real-estate experience a plus.
