Provide, oversee, and/or administer a wide range of psychosocial evaluation/assessment, diagnostic, counseling therapy, crisis intervention, and/or case management services in a high-intensity clinical environment. Provide clinical training to provisional counselors/social workers, students, and/or interns as appropriate. Ensure adherence to hospital and departmental policies and procedures. Patient care assignments may include pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations. Clinics and programs may include: Outpatient substance use treatment: individual/group therapy, walk-in counseling; collaborates with psychiatry, medication management, and primary care. Intensive Outpatient Program available. Behavior Response Team: crisis assessments and brief therapeutic support in ED, inpatient floors, and community settings; operates 7 days a week with evening hours; 4/10s schedule with one weekend day. Caminos Program: support on medical floors for patients with substance use disorders; short-term therapy, some case management, community liaison to outpatient resources. Crisis Triage Center: intake assessments, safety planning, individual sessions, and one daily group; 4/10s with one weekend day. Integrated Behavioral Health: integrated care delivery and consultation within medical settings. Metropolitan Detention Center: crisis calls, inmate assessments, housing clearances, suicidal ideation assessments; may include individual therapy and integrated care for methadone/Suboxone patients. Milagro Clinic, Multi-Systematic Therapy, Outpatient Psychotherapy Clinic, Pediatric/Adult Inpatient Units, Programs for Children and Adolescents, Young Adult Clinic: various roles in therapy, case management, group facilitation, and coordination with psychiatry. Other program specifics include safety incentives and licensure/certification requirements as described below. Licensure/Certification Requirements

Provisional license in Counseling or Social Work LMSW or LPC or LMHC for higher-level positions Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in New Mexico or related NM licenses; or doctoral degree in a related field for certain roles CPR/BLs certification or equivalent within 30 days; valid NM Driver's License; UNM Vehicle Operator's Permit within 60 days Pay rates vary by position: #1253 Graduate Counselor Social Worker: Pay Rate $22.49 - $33.74 #158 Counselor Social Worker: Pay Rate $26.22 - $39.33 #159 Clinical Counselor Social Worker: Pay Rate $28.32 - $42.48 Compensation disclaimer: Compensation is based on factors including experience, education, and organizational considerations.
