IRC designs strategies and programs based on clients’ needs and preferences and engages clients as equal, influential partners with IRC and in the broader community through advocacy. The Client Voices Promoters will support client engagement and feedback initiatives at the local level, bringing together multi-ethnic, multi-racial, and multi-sector constituencies to empower refugees and immigrants and the organizations that serve them. Responsibilities

Partner with IRC program staff to execute client satisfaction and feedback initiatives, including surveys and focus groups. Collaborate with clients to ensure their feedback informs IRC program planning and service improvements. Identify and implement preferred client engagement and feedback methods tailored to community needs. Act as a liaison between IRC and local refugee communities, representing their concerns and suggestions to office leadership. Support client participation in discussions with external partners to amplify their influence on broader community strategies. Attend community events and workshops to maintain strong connections with refugee communities and identify areas for program enhancement. Organize and facilitate leadership and civic engagement training sessions to empower clients as advocates and community leaders. Coordinate community events and focus groups to encourage active client involvement in IRC decision-making processes. Ensure alignment with IRC’s client complaints and feedback policies, supporting consistent and ethical practices. Maintain accurate records of feedback and engagement initiatives to track progress and inform future strategies. Proactively engage with clients and raise their issues to IRC leadership to inform organizational priorities. Perform additional tasks as assigned to support IRC’s mission and client-centered programming. Job Requirements

Undergraduate degree preferred, in a relevant field of study. Minimum 3 years of work experience. Demonstrated experience working with refugees, asylees, victims of human trafficking, and/or immigrant populations required. Community outreach experience preferred. Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills; ability to work across cultures and present to varied audiences. Solid organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple tasks, set priorities, manage time, and meet deadlines. Fluency in English (verbal and written) is required. Fluency in other languages and cultures of the local refugee population (e.g., Arabic, Pashto/Dari) is strongly preferred. A valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle with current insurance, and ability to travel regularly within the service area. Working Environment

Combination of standard office work and community-based activities with partners. Occasional weekend and/or evening work may be required. Compensation and Benefits

Compensation: Pay range listed as applicable. US-based ranges apply and are contingent on factors including location, experience, and internal equity. Exact offers are based on location, experience, and defined job requirements.
