Are you a detail detective who turns complex case files into clear, compelling narratives? Can you juggle deadlines, dockets, and discovery requests without breaking a sweat? Do you thrive when you’re the attorney’s right hand—managing calendars, drafting motions, and keeping everything on track?
We’re looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Paralegal to support our attorneys in complex civil litigation matters. The ideal candidate will have direct experience assisting with cases in one or more of our key practice areas and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where client service and results are the priority.
What you’ll do:
Case Preparation & Drafting:
Draft complaints, answers, discovery requests/responses, motions, subpoenas, and correspondence.
Docket & Deadline Management:
Maintain calendars across multiple jurisdictions; track court deadlines and filing requirements.
Research & Investigation:
Conduct factual and legal research, including property/lien records, corporate filings, and financial data.
Exhibits & Trial Support:
Prepare exhibits, compile trial binders, and organize hearing materials.
E-Filing & Court Liaison:
File documents via PeachCourt, eFileGA, and federal e-filing systems; coordinate service and courier deliveries.
Post-Judgment Enforcement:
Assist in garnishment actions, asset searches, and judgment collection processes.
Client & Vendor Communication:
Interface professionally with clients, opposing counsel, court staff, and service vendors.
File Maintenance:
Ensure digital case files are accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with firm procedures.
What we’re looking for:
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree; ABA-approved paralegal certificate preferred.
3+ years
of civil litigation paralegal experience, ideally in business or commercial disputes.
Proficiency with Georgia state court rules and e-filing platforms (PeachCourt, eFileGA, etc.).
Experience in debt collection or creditors’ rights litigation is a strong plus.
Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with Clio or similar practice-management software.
Exceptional writing, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple matters and prioritize competing deadlines with ease.
High level of professionalism, discretion, and commitment to client service.
Why you should work here:
Boutique Environment:
Work closely with experienced litigators and become an integral part of a high-performing, collaborative team.
Varied Caseload:
Gain hands-on experience across a spectrum of business litigation matters, from contract disputes to judgment enforcement.
Professional Growth:
Access ongoing training and mentorship, with clear pathways for advancement.
Competitive Compensation & Benefits:
We offer market-aligned salaries, PTO, health-insurance stipends, and support for professional certifications.
