Overview We are seeking a Manager, Contracts to lead contract management for the Precision Fires & Maneuver program, supporting the Tube‑Launched Optically Tracked Wireless Guided (TOW) Missile program. This role will manage production contracts throughout the lifecycle, develop proposals, negotiate terms, and administer the Department of Defense contracts. U.S. citizenship and a DoD Secret clearance are required.
Responsibilities
Provide sound contract management to meet customer obligations and company objectives.
Represent Raytheon professionally on contractual transactions and build business relationships with customers.
Lead the analysis of RFPs, development and review of proposals, and coordinate negotiations.
Manage contract scope, terms, and ensure work is performed within overall contract scope.
Identify, mitigate, and resolve contractual issues as they arise.
Work with cross‑functional teams to prepare and negotiate terms, pricing, and cost estimates, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Provide guidance on contractual and business issues, advising management on rights, obligations, and risk mitigation.
Travel periodically to customer locations for meetings and Program Management Reviews (PMR).
Qualifications You Must Have
University degree or equivalent experience with 8 + years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with 5 + years of experience.
Experience in contracts, subcontracts, procurement management, and administration.
Familiarity with FAR and DFARS regulations.
Preferred Qualifications
Strong cross‑functional collaboration and relationship‑building skills.
Excellent time‑management and organizational abilities.
Hands‑on proposal preparation and contract negotiation experience with DoD contracts, including financial aspects.
Mentoring experience for junior contractual staff.
Ability to recognize program performance issues and implement solutions independently.
