What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
Coordinate purchasing, billing, and collection activities, maintaining statistics and records
Monitor and purchase office supplies and lab equipment, maintaining inventory and asset records
Process payroll, changes of status, and attendance records for academic and nonacademic employees
Prepare requisitions, check requests, and petty cash reimbursements, reconciling monthly ledgers
Assist in grant and budget preparation and provide backup coverage for key administrative roles
What is Required (Qualifications):
High school diploma or equivalent high school certification or combination of education and/or experience
Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting/bookkeeping
Ability to perform essential functions of the position satisfactorily
Familiarity with accounting methods, budget preparation, and payroll processing
No specific certification is required for this position

Experience with financial systems and grant preparation
Skills in ordering office supplies and processing purchase orders
Proficient in spreadsheet applications
