IVA'AL Solutions, LLC IVA’AL Solutions, LLC supports the Air Force Family Advocacy Program (FAP) by staffing qualified Licensed Clinical Social Workers, Registered Nurses, Certified Victim Advocates, and Program Assistants at U.S. AF Military Treatment Facilities across the country. The FAP is a DoD-funded program aimed at preventing and responding to intimate partner abuse, child abuse, and problematic sexual behaviors involving children and youth. Essential Functions
The Family Advocacy Intervention Specialist (FAIS) is part of the multidisciplinary FAP team and works in the following capacities: Assess families referred for suspected maltreatment and treat individuals, families, and groups meeting maltreatment criteria. Provide voluntary, comprehensive prevention services, primarily home-based, to prevent family maltreatment. Offer voluntary prevention counseling to at-risk individuals, families, or groups. Develop and implement secondary prevention services and provide community behavioral health and family violence education/training. Requirements
Education and Experience: Master’s degree from a CSWE-accredited school. Licensed Clinical Social Worker with current, unrestricted State license. At least two years of full-time post-master’s clinical counseling experience with adults and children experiencing family violence (within last three years). Experience facilitating or co-leading group therapy. Ability to obtain privileges at the MTF. Maintain Basic Life Support Certification (Course C). Valid driver’s license and transportation. Technical Skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data entry skills for clinical records. Experience with Family Advocacy System of Records or Family Advocacy Program Network software for documentation. Physical and Work Environment
Requires sitting, standing, walking, handling objects, reaching, occasional kneeling, stooping, crouching, and lifting up to 20 pounds. Travel may be necessary, primarily local with potential for out-of-area and overnight travel. Work is performed in a standard office setting using typical office equipment. Position Details
Full-time, hours from 0730 to 1630, Monday through Friday, excluding US Holidays. Must obtain and maintain a NACI Clearance. Benefits and Equal Opportunity
