Position Summary Assist in activities and operations related to Records Management which includes records storage, organization, tracking, imaging, and disposal of records in compliance with State’s retention schedules. Serve as a back-up to Recording Secretaries for committee meetings and other meetings as needed. Coordinates with internal departments Records Coordinators ensuring the safeguarding and transparency of all the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority’s (GOAA) records.
Minimum Requirements
Associate degree in public administration, legal, or business administration, or political sciences and two (2) years records management and/or governmental clerical support experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Experience in municipal, county, state governmental agencies, or a legal firm with clerical experience highly desired.
Maintains a current knowledge and awareness of applicable laws, regulations, policies and procedures.
General knowledge of the State of Florida Sunshine Laws or Public Records Law preferred
Excellent oral and written communication skills, including demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and diplomatically with executive level personnel.
Demonstrated aptitude in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Adobe Pro and SharePoint, strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent composition and grammar skills
Ability to multitask and change priorities as needed
Must be able to work in a changing environment, under pressure, with tight schedules and constant interruptions
Demonstrate the ability to maintain discretion and tact when handling information and other related matters
Valid Florida driver’s license
