This role supports store operations in a stocking capacity with leadership responsibilities for a team of associates, focusing on customer service standards, merchandising, and store-wide initiatives. What you'll do
Leads and develops teams by teaching, training, listening to associates, touring stores, and providing feedback. Communicates and collaborates with all levels of associates regarding store operations, merchandising, and company direction. Leads change efforts, sets clear expectations, and helps implement business solutions and communicate objectives to teams. Models exceptional customer service standards and supports customer service initiatives and community programs. Develops action plans to correct deficiencies and provides process-improvement leadership to ensure a high-quality customer experience. Drives financial performance by reviewing PL statements, budgeting, forecasting, and controlling expenses in the designated business area. Monitors merchandise presentation, seasonal transitions, inventory flow, and operational processes; develops and implements plans to mitigate shrink and achieve sales and profit goals. Provides supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates, including hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, and recognizing performance. Maintains compliance with company policies and supports the Open Door Policy and ethical standards. Note:

Minimum qualifications
2 years’ college; OR 1 year’s retail experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience; OR 2 years’ general work experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience. For facilities that sell firearms, successful completion of a firearms-specific CBC and training may be required; for facilities that sell only ammunition with state requirements, a current state-issued Certificate of Eligibility may be required. Associates will be required to attend and successfully complete all job-required trainings and assessments (e.g., Academy trainings, Open Door trainings). Preferred qualifications
Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University; Certificate of Completion in People and Business Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University; experience supervising 5 or more direct reports including performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing.
