We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented
Paralegal with a strong background in Plaintiff-side Personal Injury law . The ideal candidate will assist attorneys in managing a caseload of personal injury matters from intake through settlement or trial. The role requires excellent organizational skills, client communication abilities, and proficiency in litigation support. Key Responsibilities
Case Management:
Assist in handling all aspects of personal injury cases, including motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, medical malpractice, and wrongful death claims. Manage files from intake through settlement or trial, ensuring deadlines are met. Client Interaction:
Serve as a primary point of contact for clients. Obtain medical records, bills, and other necessary documentation. Maintain regular communication with clients regarding case status and updates. Legal Support:
Draft and file pleadings, discovery responses, and correspondence. Prepare demand packages and settlement documents. Conduct legal and factual research as needed. Trial and Litigation Preparation:
Assist attorneys in preparing cases for mediation, arbitration, and trial. Organize exhibits, prepare trial notebooks, and manage subpoenas and depositions. Administrative Tasks:
Maintain calendar of deadlines, court dates, and appointments. File documents with courts (e-filing proficiency required). Coordinate with medical providers, insurance companies, and experts. Qualifications
5 years of experience as a personal injury paralegal on the plaintiff side. Strong knowledge of civil litigation process and court rules. Compensation
