Be a Team Member:
Maintains up-to-date knowledge of the products; collaborate with cross-functional teams and help educate other associates on tools, tasks, and resources; communicate effectively and develop interpersonal skills for providing customer service; be flexible to the needs of the business to work in other areas; track goods, maintain in-stock levels, and control shrinkage in a timely manner. Be an Expert:
Understands processes and specifications related to quality of various types of produce merchandise; prepare (trim, crisp, package, scale) products according to established standards; maintain product safety and sanitation; adhere to laws, regulations, and company policies related to produce quality. Be a Techie:
Leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement; use handheld technology to make immediate business decisions related to production, training, and product quality with the member in mind; adapt to new tools and encourage others to use them. Be an Owner:
Drive the performance of the area; use digital tools; stock and rotate department products; ensure quality and date control standards; eliminate waste; guide peers and address customer needs per company policies. Be a Talent Ambassador:
Model high-quality service and products; exhibit energy, commitment, and passion for the work. Complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans; using the Open Door Policy; applying these in executing business processes and practices. Completes work assignments and priorities by using policies, data, and resources; collaborate with managers, co-workers, customers, and partners; identify priorities, deadlines, and expectations; communicate progress and information; address improvement opportunities; adapt to change and feedback.
