Veterinary Emergency Service Head (ERSH)
who will work alongside our ER Clinicians, Specialists, and Leadership Team to ensure the highest quality medicine and services for pets and our community.

The Emergency Service Head role offers a unique blend of clinical practice and leadership, allowing you to directly impact patient care while mentoring and supporting your ER clinician team. This position provides the opportunity to shape the ER service through scheduling, hiring, and training decisions, lead team meetings, and represent the ER department in hospital leadership. Working closely with the Medical Director, you’ll play a key role in ensuring high-quality patient care and fostering a collaborative, growth-oriented environment.

Who We Are At BluePearl Langhorne
At BluePearl Langhorne (formerly CARES) we have a long history of daily whole hospital patient rounds, exceptional patient care with state-of-the-art medicine, collegial and seamless interactions between services. Frequent interdepartmental case discussions and collaboration with the goal of providing the best patient care possible. Well-established 24/7 emergency and specialty hospital in Bucks County Pennsylvania serving eastern Pennsylvania and central New Jersey. Centrally located near beautiful countryside for outdoor activities, with easy access to Philadelphia and New York City, and close to New Jersey beaches. VECCS Level 1 Certified Facility with oxygen cages, transfusion products, multiparameter monitors, and new point of care ultrasound machines for our ER and inpatients. What you need to excel in this role at BluePearl:
DVM from accredited university required. Successful completion of rotating internship or the BluePearl’s EmERge program required. 2+ years of clinical experience required. Must possess valid applicable DVM licensure. Demonstrated capacity to multitask and successfully manage competing priorities required. Prior shift lead experience preferred. Strong leadership ability with excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrated stress tolerance and attention to detail. Strong ability to mentor and train less experienced Clinicians and Interns.
