About the Role:
As a Warehouse Team Lead, you'll take a hands-on role in overseeing daily shipping, receiving, and material handling operations within our manufacturing facility. You'll help coordinate workflow, maintain inventory accuracy, and ensure materials and products are efficiently and safely moved through the plant to support production goals. Key Responsibilities
Coordinate daily warehouse operations including receiving, staging, material movement, and outbound shipments
Lead, train, and support warehouse associates to achieve productivity, accuracy, and safety standards
Monitor inventory levels, perform cycle counts, and communicate material needs to Production and Purchasing teams
Oversee proper use of forklifts and material handling equipment; ensure inspections and safety checks are completed daily
Maintain organized storage areas, labeling systems, and accurate documentation for all incoming and outgoing materials
Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams (Production, Quality, Maintenance, Purchasing) to ensure smooth flow of goods
Enforce compliance with all safety regulations, PPE requirements, and 5S/LEAN principles
Identify process improvement opportunities and support implementation of best practices
Assist in employee coaching and performance feedback as needed
Ensure all shipments meet quality and documentation requirements prior to release
What You Bring
Minimum of 2 years' experience in a warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing environment
Proven leadership or lead-level experience preferred
Knowledge of inventory control, shipping/receiving processes, and ERP systems
Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification required
Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Dependable, punctual, and adaptable to changing priorities
Team-focused with a hands-on leadership style
Physical And Environmental Requirements
Lifting: Lift up to 50 lbs unassisted
Environment: Manufacturing and warehouse setting with noise, heat, and other physical demands
Activities: Standing, walking, bending, reaching, climbing, and operating forklifts or pallet jacks throughout the shift
PPE: Eye and hearing protection, gloves, and safety-toe footwear required
Dexterity & Vision: Manual dexterity and ability to distinguish color, depth, and distance
Safety: Follow all safety protocols and immediately report hazards or equipment issues
Education And Requirements
High School Diploma or GED required
Must pass background check and drug/alcohol screening
Availability for overtime or flexible hours as needed
