Position Title Project Manager, Electrical Products and General Contractor

Location Peachtree Corners, GA / Remote

Overview We are looking for a Dynamic Project Manager for Electrical Products. This position reports to the Director of GGCS (Government, General Contractor, Solutions) vertical in the Project Management Organization. The successful candidate will interface with both internal and external customers to execute mid and high‑level complexity electrical distribution projects within the Industrial Market including EV Infrastructure, Datacenter, Automotive, and Aerospace. Remote work is allowed with less than 20% travel.

Perspective – See clearly beyond their own advantage across functional areas specifically manufacturing facilities to successfully coordinate related products.

Communication – Effectively and efficiently communicate knowledge across functional areas both with internal and external Project Stakeholders.

Resourcefulness – Exhibit creative ways to make things happen with less authority and fewer resources.

Accountability & Responsibility for Results – Understand the difference between fault and responsibility throughout the life of the project and accept ultimate accountability for project results.

Responsibilities

Project manager for multiple projects across the country.

Accountable for order execution including schedule, financial, and commissioning performance.

Create baseline project schedules and reset customer expectations (if required) upon project kickoff.

Set firm expectations on expected product release dates.

Use COMPAS to make configuration changes related to project changes or material adds to orders.

Collaborate with multiple internal and external stakeholders to resolve project issues.

Increase business unit margins through positive value adds on change orders, price escalations and selling extended warranties.

Track and keep customers updated on pressing project issues.

Track ship shorts.

Provide Financial Invoice Summaries and reconciliation support to close out project at the completion of contracted scope of supply.

Coordinate deliveries with project site.

Serve as the escalation point for complex issues and challenges.

Collaborate with internal stakeholders to drive improvements across organizations.

Apply skills to resolve complex problems to ensure successful delivery of projects pursuant to customer deliverables and agreed upon contract terms.

Display a high level of critical thinking in bringing successful resolution to high impact, complex and/or cross‑functional problems.

Develop risk mitigation plans to preempt potential problems through the application of concepts, techniques, knowledge, processes, and lessons learned.

Comply with Siemens policies and procedures.

Demonstrate ownership of the project with minimal intervention from Sales.

Assist and support in warranty related claims while balancing best bottom‑line results and customer experience.

Basic Qualifications

BS/BA, BS in engineering, business, or related field or equivalent.

5 plus years of experience in the application and concepts of Low Voltage Products.

Electrical and or General Contractor Project management experience.

Working with distributors, contractors (electrical and general), and in construction market.

Must be eligible to work in the US with no sponsorship now or in the future.

Preferred Qualifications

BS in engineering.

Experience with (COMPAS, SAP, and exposure to Tableau etc.).

Current PMI Project Management Professional certification or equivalent.

Demonstrates problem solving skills to stakeholders on various Low Voltage Electrical Systems products.

Maintains excellent organizational skills to store critical company and customer files including Emails, Purchase Agreements, Contract Drawings and Specifications, Bid Proposals, Project Schedules, Meeting Minutes, Submittal documents.

Proven ability to demonstrate and apply strong interpersonal, negotiating, influencing and leadership skills.

The pay range for this position is $98,630 - $169,080. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
