This role involves engaging with patients and providers, handling complex scheduling, record retrieval, and ensuring patients see the right provider with the right records. The position may include additional duties as assigned. Qualified candidates may be eligible for a sign-on bonus of $3,500, paid in two installments with a 2-year service agreement. Responsibilities include:
Scheduling appointments accurately and coordinating same-day visits when available. Educating patients and guardians about managed care, authorizations, and financial obligations. Advocating for patients and coordinating multi-visit schedules. Providing exceptional customer service to facilitate access to UVA Medical Services. Documenting requests thoroughly and resolving issues or referring as needed. Minimum Requirements:
High School Diploma required; Associate’s degree preferred. At least 2 years of relevant experience; cross-trained candidates may be considered. No licensure required. Physical Demands:
