Provide leadership to a customer‑centric team of associates and accelerate the seasonal tax business by managing a single H&R Block tax office. Serve as the front‑line manager, delivering leadership and development of tax office associates, providing an outstanding client experience, and achieving office growth objectives. Advance knowledge and skills to excel as a resource on tax topics and products for associates. Lead daily activities to ensure all tax office work is completed on time with attention to quality standards, priorities, and overall goals. Build an engaging team environment by training and coaching associates to execute Service Standards and recognize outstanding contributions. Lead daily team meetings and communicate essential information to tax office associates. Schedule associate work and ensure accurate timekeeping and overtime management. Prepare tax returns, as required, and conduct timely performance reviews; collaborate with Associate Relations Center to address performance concerns. Qualifications

Prior experience in a customer service, shift lead, or similar role; experience supervising or managing people. Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or Income Tax Course if preparing tax returns; annual continuing education to meet IRS and applicable state requirements. Computer proficiency with MS Office; ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Customer‑centric mindset; flexible to work schedule and assignments based on business needs. High school diploma or equivalent or higher. What You’ll Bring

Partner with the District General Manager to create and implement office‑level growth plans, including developing local partnerships and managing office community involvement. Assist the District General Manager in recruiting and interviewing candidates for tax office associate positions. Serve as point of contact for onsite escalated client service concerns. Ensure clients are scheduled properly and conflicts are resolved. Lead daily activities to ensure work is completed on time and to quality standards; manage priorities. Maintain an engaging team environment through coaching and recognition of contributions. Lead daily team meetings and communicate essential information to staff. Create associate work schedules and ensure accurate timekeeping and overtime management. Prepare tax returns, as required. Conduct timely performance reviews and address performance concerns with the Associate Relations Center. Your Expertise

Experience in customer service, leadership, or related roles; demonstrated ability to supervise or manage people. Ability to complete required tax knowledge assessments or tax courses; ongoing professional education as required. Proficiency with MS Office; ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Demonstrated resilience, customer‑centric mindset, and adaptability to flexible work schedules. High school diploma or equivalent or higher. Compensation and Benefits

The pay range for this position is listed below. Local minimum wage laws apply. Pay decisions are based on experience, education, skill, performance, and location. Eligible employees may participate in incentive plans and benefit programs, including medical coverage, retirement plans, and other programs described by HR Block. Some benefits require eligibility.
