Job Overview The Operations Analyst will play a critical role in monitoring and dispatching outage trouble calls, analyzing incoming outage calls to determine the location of problems, and prioritizing emergency, outage, and non‑outage work for first responders. This position requires strong customer service skills, the ability to handle multiple tasks under pressure, and the capability to analyze large data sets to create actionable plans. The role involves direct communication with customers to identify power issues and ensure efficient resolution.
Responsibilities
Monitor and dispatch outage trouble calls.
Analyze outage calls to determine the location of problems.
Prioritize emergency, outage, and non‑outage work for first responders.
Communicate with customers to identify and resolve power issues.
Handle multiple tasks from start to finish, managing changing priorities effectively.
Work under pressure and make well‑thought‑out decisions.
Analyze large subsets of data from multiple sources to create appropriate action plans.
Qualifications
Minimum High School Diploma/GED.
Strong customer service skills with prior experience in a long‑term operations analyst role.
Prior dispatch skills, preferably in 911 operations centers or utilities operations centers.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to lead, collaborate, or work effectively in multi‑disciplinary teams.
Nice to have: hands‑on dispatch/operations center experience.
Pay Range Pay Range: $26–$28 per hour. The specific compensation for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
