Hybrid (3 onsite / 2 remote) | 40 hrs/week

Pay Range:
$135,000.00/yr - $145,000.00/yr
We’re seeking a
Transport Engineer IV
to provide
end-to-end technical oversight
for network transport design and configuration supporting
4G, 5G, and CBand
expansion. You’ll generate router configurations, assign IPs, and keep documentation and systems current across multi-vendor platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Design and implement transport configs and IP assignments for network growth in the Tri‑State area.
Generate configuration files for Samsung and Nokia equipment (e.g., via Nokia Service Portal).
Create/manage LS3/LS6 router configs, Conquest IP assignments, and CBand bandwidth upgrade files.
Perform Granite updates and Fuze SPM tracking for progress visibility.
Support Dark Fiber, LIT‑Eline, and 3rd‑party circuits.
Partner with Network Planning/Engineering to ensure scalability, compliance, and on‑time delivery.
Contribute to the engineering database for transport equipment and design paths.
Required Skills
Bachelor’s degree or 3+ years in telecom/transport engineering.
Strong working knowledge of Granite/CND databases.
Familiarity with Samsung and Nokia Transport/RAN equipment.
Preferred Skills
Degree in Engineering/Telecom or related field.
Experience with CWDM/DWDM optical transport (e.g., Ciena, Alcatel‑Lucent).
Understanding of Dark Fiber vendor processes/standards.
Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS Project.
Strong troubleshooting, project management, communication, and decision‑making; able to work independently.
