Position Summary We are seeking a proactive and hands‑on Maintenance Manager to oversee a dynamic team at our modern extrusion and fabrication facility in the Phoenix, AZ area. This leader will drive initiatives across mechanical, electrical, and automation systems to support uninterrupted operations, efficiency improvements, and capital investments. The ideal candidate brings experience in plastics or high‑temperature industrial manufacturing and thrives in a fast‑paced environment with a strong safety‑first mindset.

Key Responsibilities

Lead, mentor, and develop a skilled maintenance team while promoting a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Manage day‑to‑day maintenance of extrusion and fabrication systems, including scheduling, repairs, and preventive/predictive programs.

Drive capital improvement projects including installation, testing, and integration of new production equipment.

Maintain facility systems including HVAC, water processing, and electrical infrastructure.

Diagnose and resolve mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical system issues across the plant.

Serve as the technical liaison with equipment OEMs and vendors to ensure uptime and operational integrity.

Oversee regulatory compliance including OSHA, safety audits, and environmental protocols.

Collaborate with production and engineering teams to enhance equipment performance and reduce downtime.

Align maintenance operations with ERP systems for tracking and reporting efficiency metrics.

Manage departmental budget, spare parts inventory, and third‑party service contracts.

Qualifications Required

5+ years of leadership experience in maintenance within a manufacturing setting (extrusion or plastics preferred).

Proven mechanical and electrical troubleshooting expertise.

Experience leading technical teams in a safety‑focused, hands‑on environment.

Background with capital equipment procurement and commissioning.

Knowledge of CMMS or ERP systems related to maintenance management.

Ability to prioritize, delegate, and communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.

Preferred

Degree or certification in mechanical/electrical engineering, industrial technology, or a related field.

Familiarity with PLC/automation systems (Siemens, Allen‑Bradley, etc.).

Experience with high‑temperature or thermal process environments.

Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
