Be a Team Member: Maintains up-to-date knowledge of the products; collaborates with cross-functional teams and helps educate other associates on tools, tasks, and resources; communicates effectively and develops interpersonal skills for customer service; flexible to work in other areas, tracks goods, maintains in-stock levels, and controls shrinkage in a timely manner. Be an Expert: Understands processes and specifications related to quality of various types of produce merchandise; prepares (trim, crisp, package, scale) products according to established standards; maintains product safety and follows sanitation guidelines; adheres to laws, regulations, and company policies related to produce quality. Be a Techie: Uses digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement; uses handheld technology to make immediate business decisions related to production, training, and product quality with the member in mind; adapts to new tools and encourages others to use them. Be an Owner: Drives the performance of the area; uses digital tools; applies perpetual inventory management to stock and rotate department products; ensures quality and date control; eliminates waste; assists customers according to company policies and procedures. Be a Talent Ambassador: Advocates for the department and club by valuing the member's experience in the meat area and modeling high-quality service and products; executes the basics at the highest level of quality; shows energy, commitment, and passion for the work. Complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity; follows Open Door Policy; applies these in business processes and practices. Completes work assignments and priorities by using policies, data, and resources; collaborates with managers, co-workers, customers, and partners; identifies priorities and deadlines; communicates progress; seeks opportunities for improvement; adapts to change and feedback.
