Overview We are looking for an Assistant Store Manager Operations who will partner with the Store Manager on long‑range management of the store workforce, oversee payroll, schedule teammates based on athlete traffic, analyze sales reports, and react accordingly.
Responsibilities
Partner with Store Manager on long‑range workforce management and oversee payroll to meet budget.
Hire and build strong teams by recruiting within the community and ensuring team reflects the communities served.
Coach and develop teammates, handle discipline, appraisals, performance matters, and make recommendations for termination or advancement.
Plan, organize, and control store operations for 90 days with guidance of Store Manager, ensuring a hassle‑free shopping experience.
Manage direct team in assigned department(s) and oversee teammates in other areas of the store as Head Coach, ensuring merchandising standards.
Hold teammates accountable for operational guidelines, brand standards, customer service, and company policies.
Ensure compliance with operational processes, cash handling, safety, and conduct Loss Prevention audits; serve as store “Shrink Coach.”
Prioritize training and development, embedding learning into daily leading, building development plans, and making recommendations for termination and advancement.
Maintain a people‑first culture by connecting with teammates, building mutual trust, and creating a high‑energy environment.
Create an inclusive store environment where everyone feels safe, welcome, and encouraged to bring their best selves to work; support opportunities for teammates to give back to community.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or Equivalent.
1–3 years of experience.
1–3 years of retail management or customer‑focused experience.
