Position Specific Description We are currently seeking candidates for the position of Maintenance Leader. The selected candidate will be responsible for managing the maintenance program for a 4x1 Combined‑Cycle Power Plant and two Conventional Boiler units in Parrish, Florida.

Job Summary This position is responsible for executing both short‑term and long‑term maintenance strategies, ensuring that all activities are conducted following corporate policies and applicable local, state, and federal permits, codes, standards, and regulations. As a leader, this person will directly supervise and manage maintenance employees, both bargaining unit and exempt. The successful candidate will work with the Plant Manager to implement the maintenance plan and ensure that all budget targets are met.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

Ensure a short‑range maintenance work plan functions effectively as a cohesive plan across all plant departments, including planning, scheduling, procurement of materials and contract labor.

Review and provide feedback on the long‑term maintenance strategy.

Responsible for all contract administration.

Lead site for short notice outage planning to ensure budget optimization and effectiveness of all expenditures.

Work with the Central Maintenance Team, site personnel and contractors as needed to plan and execute all major maintenance and other planned outages as site lead.

Provide oversight and strategic direction for maintaining all maintenance procedures.

Provide leadership and precise decisions when serving as on‑call manager.

Set clear expectations for team members and contractors.

Planning and scheduling of complex tasks.

Contract management experience a plus.

Ability to manage multiple work scopes.

Additional Duties & Responsibilities

Manages associated capital and O&M budgets.

Responsible for work management backlog.

Troubleshoot and analyze equipment performance deviations.

Ensure site equipment is in excellent operational condition and available for use at all times.

Job Overview Employees in this role lead a team of production and maintenance technicians and contractors in plant maintenance activities. Individuals in this position lead internal and external resources to deliver certainty, executing plant maintenance to achieve short and long‑term site goals and objectives in safety, environmental compliance, reliability, availability, and cost management.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Equivalent Experience.

Experience: 5+ years.

High School Graduate / GED.

Supervisor/Management Experience: 2+ years.
