This position will report to the Plant Manager and be based at Gulf Clean Energy Center located in Pensacola, FL.
Job Overview Employees in this role lead a team of production and maintenance technicians and contractors in plant maintenance activities. Individuals in this position lead internal and external resources to deliver certainty, executing plant maintenance to achieve short and long term site goals and objectives in safety, environmental, compliance, reliability, availability and cost management.
Responsibilities
Oversee the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of the power generation facility and ensure compliance with environmental regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
Lead a team of operators and technicians to meet production goals and maintain operational excellence.
Focus on optimizing site maintenance and standardizing processes, procedures, and techniques to ensure repeatability.
Develop technicians’ skills and knowledge; assume accountability for internal employee development and performance management.
Manage associated capital and O&M budgets and address work management backlog.
Troubleshoot and analyze equipment performance deviations; ensure site equipment is in excellent operational condition and available for use at all times.
Deliver short and long term site goals and objectives in safety, environmental compliance, reliability, availability, and cost management.
Qualifications
Required:
Bachelor's or equivalent experience; 5+ years of experience; High School Grad / GED; 2+ years of supervisor/management experience.

Operations experience strongly desired
Knowledge and understanding of advanced power plant operations
Planning and scheduling of complex tasks
Contract management experience a plus
Ability to manage multiple work scopes
