This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the food manufacturing industry. As a Quality Assurance Assistant Manager/Field Service Representative, this role serves as a critical link between key customers and the organization, ensuring excellence in product quality, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency. This dynamic, on-site position is with a global leader in food manufacturing and is based approximately 30 miles east of Omaha, NE, with some travel required. Some of what you would do:
Provide technical and customer relationship support to the customer’s restaurant team. Review complaints at the store level and support plant QA investigation. Support development of restaurant procedures, and in-store product/equipment validation (e.g. grill performance, product preparation). Support our Client's product roll-out and training. Perform Distribution Center visit and support customer QA and Supply Chain departments on projects related to distribution. Be a resource for our Client and their customers on Sensory Evaluations. Necessary Experience & Skills
Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Computer Skills. 2+ to 5 years of relevant work experience in the animal protein/food industry (plant level). Excellent analytical and communication skills. Understanding of Quality Tools and SPC. Experience in Sensory Evaluation is a plus. Education
Bachelor's degree
in food science, Animal Science, Nutrition, Culinary Sciences, Biology, or related field
