Role Overview Our client, a leading food manufacturing organization, is seeking an experienced
Quality Assurance Manager
to oversee food safety, quality systems, and regulatory compliance. This role is critical in driving
SQF ,
HACCP , and continuous quality improvement initiatives within a high‑end production facility.
Key Responsibilities
Lead
Quality Assurance & Food Safety
operations
Implement and maintain
SQF Food Safety & Quality Codes
Manage and audit
HACCP‑based food safety plans
Oversee daily
QC activities
and plant compliance
Prepare for and lead
USDA, FDA, customer, and third‑party audits
Investigate non‑conformances and customer complaints
Drive
root cause analysis and corrective actions
Supervise and train
QA/QC staff
Maintain all QA documentation, SOPs, and prerequisite programs
Ensure plant compliance with federal, customer, and food safety standards
Required Experience
3+ years
managing QA & Food Safety operations in
food manufacturing
(must have)
2+ years
managing QA/QC teams
Strong experience with
SQF, HACCP, audits, and regulatory compliance
Sous‑vide or frozen food experience
strongly preferred
Education & Certifications
Bachelor’s degree in food science or related field
HACCP certified
(mandatory)
