Reporting to the Director of Health System Facilities, the Compliance Manager, Health Facilities, is responsible for ensuring departmental compliance with all applicable UCLA Health policies, Federal, State, and local codes, as well as standards and regulatory requirements across multiple facilities including Ronald Reagan University Medical Center, Lynda and Stuart Resnick Neuropsychiatric Hospital, Santa Monica-UCLA Medical Center and MOBs, the 200 and 300 Medical Plaza MOBs, Tiverton House, portions of the Center for Health Sciences (CHS), Edie and Lew Wasserman, 100 Medical Plaza, and West Medical buildings; approximately 200 clinics in the Greater Los Angeles area; and other facilities as assigned. Salary Range: $112,900 - $256,900 Qualifications

Solid understanding and working knowledge of EOC-, LS- and HR-related Federal, State, and Local codes, standards, and regulatory requirements applicable to critical-care hospitals, MOBs, and standalone/offsite clinics in California, utilizing TJC (preferred) for accreditation purposes. Excellent written and verbal communication skills to enable effective communication with internal and external stakeholders at all levels and capacities. Outstanding personal ability to develop and maintain trust, rapport, and strong working relationships with a large and diverse group of internal stakeholders and both internal/external service providers at all levels. Strong time management, organizational, and analytical skills to navigate complex, critical, and dynamic hospital and outpatient environments. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Fire Protection Engineering, Architecture, Public Health Administration, or a related field. Minimum of 10 years' experience in hospital-based Environment of Care and Life Safety regulatory compliance roles within California, including representing the organization at the Facilities/Engineering level (or higher) to regulatory agencies such as CMS, CDPH, CAL-OSHA, State Board of Pharmacy, TJC, and others.
