About the Team The Tax Technology Senior Analyst will play a critical role in supporting the day‑to‑day success of the finance function on the Tax Team.

Responsibilities

Collaborate closely with internal finance stakeholders to understand business use cases, identify improvement opportunities, and define requirements and scope.

Take ownership of developing and executing new and existing solutions while adhering to committed timelines and providing regular status updates.

Develop a deep understanding of our enterprise billing system and relevant data to create best‑in‑class solutions through streamlined queries and workflows.

Create robust solutions to assess risks and provide analytical support to Zoom’s subject‑matter experts, including audit support.

Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of processes, system configurations, and automation workflows.

Partner with technical data and engineering teams to identify, ingest, validate, and transform data from new sources for reporting.

Maintain data quality and consistency with internal partners through effective reconciliation processes and procedures.

Author, review, and facilitate alignment on Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) with stakeholder feedback and cross‑functional buy‑in.

Support requirements gathering and user acceptance testing (UAT) during enterprise systems implementations and cross‑functional projects.

Ensure data security of relevant data stored in cloud systems by monitoring role access and partnering with data platform teams for recommendations.

Review, develop, and enhance processes, ensuring compliance with corporate policies, Sarbanes‑Oxley (SOX), and data privacy rules and regulations.

What we’re looking for

3+ years of experience in a similar role providing operational and technical data analytical support within a corporate team or global consulting firm.

2+ years of direct experience writing and reviewing SQL queries in a finance, accounting, or tax capacity. Experience with Python, VBA, or similar programming languages is nice to have.

Experience with AI/LLM, RPA, Alteryx, Jira, Confluence, and Tableau is nice to have.

Experience working with data from Excel, flat files, databases, and APIs.

Experience with interpreting and extracting large volumes of tax/transaction data from enterprise systems (Zuora, Avalara, Fonoa, Oracle, Salesforce, etc.) is nice to have.

Experience building solutions subject to SOX controls, including interfacing with auditors and data privacy laws.

High level of detail‑orientation and accuracy.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to create clear documentation.

Continuous improvement mindset to bring best practices and efficiencies to repeatable processes.

Salary Range or On Target Earnings Minimum: $76,800.00

Maximum: $186,200.00
