$17.00/hr - $24.00/hr What you’ll do
Be a Team Member: maintain up-to-date knowledge of products; collaborate with cross-functional teams; educate other associates on tools, tasks, and resources; communicate effectively; be flexible to the needs of the business to work in other areas; track goods; maintain in-stock levels; and control shrinkage in a timely manner. Be an Expert: understand processes and specifications related to quality of various types of produce; prepare products according to established standards; maintain product safety and sanitation; adhere to laws, regulations, and company policies related to produce quality. Be a Techie: leverage digital tools to drive sales and improve the shopping experience; use handheld technology to make immediate business decisions related to production, training, and product quality; adapt to new tools and encourage others to use them. Be an Owner: drive performance of the area; utilize digital tools; stock and rotate department products using perpetual inventory; ensure quality and date control; eliminate waste; assist customers per company policies and procedures. Be a Talent Ambassador: advocate for the department and the club by valuing the member's experience in the meat area; model high quality service and products; exhibit energy, commitment, and passion for the work. Comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity; apply Open Door Policy in executing business processes and practices. Complete work assignments and priorities using policies, data, and resources; collaborate with managers, co-workers, customers, and other partners; identify priorities and deadlines; communicate progress and information; address improvement opportunities; adapt to change and feedback.
