What you’ll do
Be a Team Member: Maintains up-to-date knowledge of the products; collaborates with cross-functional teams; helps educate other associates on tools, tasks, and resources; communicates effectively and develops interpersonal skills for providing customer service; flexible to the needs of the business to work in other areas, tracking goods, maintaining in-stock levels, and controlling shrinkage in a timely manner.
Be an Expert: Understands processes and specifications related to quality of various types of produce merchandise; prepares products according to established standards; maintains product safety and follows sanitation guidelines; adheres to applicable laws, regulations, and company policies related to produce quality.
Be a Techie: Leverages digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement; uses handheld technology to inform decisions related to production, training, and product quality with the member in mind; adapts to new tools and encourages others to use them.
Be an Owner: Drives the performance of the area; utilizes digital tools; stocks and rotates department products using perpetual inventory methods; ensures quality and date-control standards; eliminates waste; guides peers and supports customer needs.
Be a Talent Ambassador: Advocates for the department and club by valuing the member’s experience and modeling high-quality service and products; executes basics at the highest possible level and shows energy and commitment.
Complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans and practices.
Completes work assignments and priorities by using policies, data, and resources; collaborates with managers, coworkers, customers, and partners; identifies priorities and deadlines; communicates progress and feedback.
