TrueNorth is expanding our team and looking for a Business Development Representative (BDR)

to help shape the future of financial innovation.

Key Responsibilities

Prospect and qualify new leads through research, outbound calls, email campaigns, and LinkedIn outreach.

Collaborate with technology and channel partners to identify and drive joint opportunities.

Manage and nurture inbound leads, ensuring timely and professional follow-up.

Schedule and coordinate introductory meetings between prospects and senior sales leaders.

Attend and represent the company at 3–4 industry conferences annually, engaging prospects and partners to drive new business.

Work closely with the growth team to execute lead generation campaigns and identify new market opportunities.

Maintain accurate records of outreach, conversations, and opportunities in CRM (Salesforce).

Assist in preparing presentations, proposals, and meeting summaries for prospective clients.

Track performance metrics (calls, meetings, conversions) and continuously improve outreach strategies.

Stay current on industry trends in fintech, banking, and digital transformation.

Execute frequent outbound activities to clients, prospects and partners

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.

2–3 years of experience in business development, inside sales, or account coordination.

Strong communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to engage senior executives and partners.

Experience in or selling to technology, consulting, or financial services clients preferred.

Proficiency with CRM tools (Salesforce experience a plus).

High level of initiative, organization, and follow-through.

Ability to travel occasionally for conferences and partner meetings (approximately 10–15%).
