eCommerce Specialist

to join our growing team! The eCommerce Specialist is responsible for managing and coordinating our on-line product information and eCommerce activities to drive awareness, enhance new customer acquisition, increase engagement, and overall growth for OSG across all digital platforms. This position involves creating and maintaining product listings, managing product data and content for accuracy, and working with our contracted development team to assist with issue resolution and project development to execute marketing strategies while enhancing the customer experience. Job Functions for a

eCommerce Specialist :

Maintain and optimize product listings, ensuring accuracy and up to date information, across our eCommerce channels Assist customers with related issue resolution Assist with general website maintenance activities including urgent/important notices, banners, blog posts, etc... Reconcile data between our ERP system & Web platform, including monitoring and processing of incoming e-commerce orders Work across multiple departments to create and revise product content, (descriptions, dimensions, images, product availability, etc… Recommend and implement changes to ensure a smooth online shopping experience, optimize sales funnels and improve site performance Develops methods and strategies for assessing large amounts of data Analyzes product data to identify and correct inconsistencies Prepares regular status reports (weekly, monthly, quarterly) and presents findings to senior management, offering insights and recommendations for improvement to support ongoing business initiatives Stays up to date with e-commerce platform features, upgrades, best practices and competitive landscape to propose new strategies and initiatives Manages and responds promptly to questions, and requests from key accounts and internal teams Qualifications for

eCommerce Specialist :

Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Computer Science or related field Proven experience in eCommerce management, digital marketing or related fields Familiarity with e-commerce platforms (Shopify, Magneto, Big Commerce, etc.) High level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel and MS Office suite of products, including Teams and Sharepoint Detailed oriented with strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills Proficiency in various data analysis techniques and procedures Superior time-management, organizational, analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to grasp and interpret information to prioritize work and meet deadlines. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills Thrives in a fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency Preferred Qualifications for

eCommerce Specialist :

1-2 years' experience with ecommerce platform or product data management Cutting tool industry knowledge Microsoft PowerBI & SQL BigCommerce experience Knowledge of customer experience optimization Knowledge of HTML/CSS or ability to use e-commerce platform customization tools Experience in managing large product catalogs Benefits:
