Business Development Manager (Central Europe)
Full-time role for a Business Development Manager (BDM) in Central Europe responsible for the EDAC Group of companies' growth strategy of electromechanical connectors. Responsible for both direct customers and distributors, you will manage relationships, drive sales, and create opportunities across Central Europe.
Your primary focus will be twofold:
growing sales through our distributor network
and
identifying and securing new key customers
in the region. This is a field-based role where your ability to connect, influence, and deliver results will directly impact our success.
What You'll Be Doing
Managing relationships and motivating local and pan-European distribution partners in your territory
Building a robust pipeline of new business opportunities
Meeting and exceeding sales and gross profit budgets for the region
Growing the existing customer base while actively hunting for new strategic accounts
Monitoring competitor activities and identifying market opportunities
Championing our key brands and focus products as defined by leadership
Providing regular reporting and insights to the Head of Sales
What We're Looking For
Fluent German speaker with excellent written German skills
Conversant with connector products, from either manufacturer or distributor background
Commercial/business degree and/or technical qualification
Proven track record in a similar role within the connector industry or related field
Outstanding communication and negotiation abilities
Self‑motivated, results‑driven mentality
Able to work under pressure and close sales opportunities
Strong analytical thinking and software proficiency
This is a home-based position (either within the region or UK-based with regular travel to Central Europe), reporting to our Head of Sales.
