Summary CHS is hiring an
Operations Specialist/Truck Driver
in
Adams, ND . This hybrid role involves driving and operational tasks, adapting seasonally and with business needs.
As a
CHS Driver , support farmers, ranchers, feed & seed stores, and refineries—transporting essential products and building customer relationships.
As an
Operations Specialist , you'll:
Seal cars
Operate a payloader
Drive dump trucks
Assist with piles

Responsibilities
Carry out general labor responsibilities, including preparing trucks and railcars for loading/unloading, sampling, opening hatches, attaching hoses, etc.
Load and unload agricultural inputs using machinery/equipment
Conduct and record repairs and maintenance; inspect equipment regularly
Monitor inventory quality
Deliver products safely and on time to customer sites
Ensure compliance with laws and safety regulations
Maintain cleanliness and safety of work areas and vehicles
Perform grounds maintenance and warehouse duties
Report safety concerns or repairs promptly
Follow safety policies and procedures
Perform other duties as needed to ensure smooth operations
Minimum Qualifications
At least 1 year of experience in Operations or Trucking
Valid Class A CDL
Ability to communicate effectively in English; understand traffic signs/signals
Additional Qualifications
High School diploma or GED preferred
Maintain or obtain CDL and DOT medical card
Willing to work additional hours/weekends
Hazmat, Tanker, and Air Brake endorsements preferred
Agriculture background preferred
Customer service experience preferred
Experience with bulk liquids, pressure trailers, forklifts preferred
Pre-employment screening may include drug, criminal, motor vehicle checks, etc.
Physical Requirements
Lift up to 75 pounds
Climb rail cars, ladders, stairs, bins, trailers
Work in dust, adverse weather, and temperature conditions
