The primary function of the Document Controller/Specialist (Engineering) is to ensure the quality of Document Control products and services for project teams and compliance with E&C project standards. Responsibilities:
Implement existing document control specifications. Track contractor and vendor deliverables throughout the project lifecycle, including revisions, distribution, and transmittal histories. Ensure the reliability, retrievability, and traceability of project data transmitted to and from the client, in accordance with standards. Process incoming and outgoing correspondence promptly. Generate and update Master Deliverables Registers for suppliers and contractors. Maintain accurate metadata in Master Deliverables Registers. Prepare and implement squad checking documentation according to procedures. Provide accurate status reports based on metadata designations at scheduled intervals. Support the Lessons Learned Program as directed by E&C Project Excellence. Ensure alignment with Document Control standards and manage deviations appropriately. Provide backup support for document control as needed. Skills:
Proficiency in MS Word, Outlook, and Excel 2007. Experience with deliverables management, revision control, and document registers. Knowledge of transmittals and correspondence management. Experience with electronic document management systems (e.g., ProjecTools, Livelink, Documentum, SharePoint). Excellent communication skills to convey ideas clearly and professionally. Education/Experience:
