Ensuring high-quality products are fresh, ready, and available in the café
Ensuring shelves are clean, maintaining temperature control, verifying expiration dates, and disposing of lesser-quality food products
Packing ready-to-sell products in proper containers and stock displays
Preparing and serving ready-to-eat food
Maintaining a clean, sanitized, and member-ready area
Responsibilities
Be a Team Member: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product specifications related to prepared food merchandise; collaborate with cross-functional teams; educate other associates on tools, tasks, and resources; communicate effectively with team members; and be flexible to work in other areas as needed.
Be an Expert: Prepare food according to item specifications; plan future productions and mass productions; prepare for seasonality; adhere to food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold chain compliance, inventory management; operate, maintain, and sanitize equipment; understand product and layout execution.
Be a Techie: Use digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement; use handheld technology for production decisions, ordering, receiving club pickup orders, training, and product quality with the member in mind; adapt to new tools and encourage others to use them.
Be an Owner: Drive area performance; stock and rotate merchandise; ensure quality and date control; eliminate waste; provide member service by acknowledging members and identifying needs; assist with purchasing decisions and payment types; locate merchandise; resolve member issues.
Be a Talent Ambassador: Act as a brand advocate; develop and inspire others to work in a respectful, supportive, and team-oriented style; identify roadblocks and assist in training.
Comply with company policies, procedures, and ethics by applying related action plans and open-door policy in executing business processes.
