What you’ll do Be a Team Member: Maintains up-to-date knowledge of product specifications related to prepared food merchandise; collaborate with cross functional teams; educate other associates on tools, tasks and resources; communicate effectively with team members; and be flexible to the needs of the business to work in other areas.
Be an Expert: Prepare food according to item specifications; plan future productions and mass productions; prepare for seasonality; adhere to food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold chain compliance, inventory management; operate, maintain, and sanitize equipment; demonstrate understanding of product and layout execution.
Be a Techie: Leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement; use handheld technology to make immediate business decisions related to production, ordering merchandise, receiving club pick up orders, training, and product quality with the member in mind; adapt to new tools and encourage others to use them.
Be an Owner: Drive the performance of the area; stock and rotate merchandise; ensure quality and date control standards; minimize waste; provide member service by acknowledging members and identifying needs; assist members with purchasing decisions; handle payment types; locate merchandise; resolve member issues and concerns.
Be a Talent Ambassador: Act as a brand advocate; develop, influence and inspire others to work in a respectful, supportive, and team-oriented manner; understand roadblocks and assist in training.
Complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans; use the Open Door Policy; apply these in executing business processes and practices.
Completes work assignments and priorities by using policies, data, and resources; collaborate with managers, co-workers, customers, and other business partners; identify priorities and deadlines; carry out tasks; communicate progress; identify improvement opportunities; adapt to and learn from change.
