Overview
Automotive Technician – Mobile Repair | Van & Tools Provided - Baltimore at AutoNation. This role offers a fully equipped company van with state-of-the-art tools, a company iPhone, and growth opportunities across AutoNation Mobile Service. Responsibilities
Customer Service: Interact with fleet management staff and central office; provide repair quote estimates for additional automotive repairs; contribute to a team focused on solving technical problems quickly and effectively. Technical: Perform scheduled vehicle maintenance; replace common wear and tear parts and tires; inspect vehicles following defined procedures; diagnose and repair to ensure customers can drive away feeling safe and at ease. Operational Responsibilities: Set up location-based service operations; run the location jointly with other technicians as a service team; maintain service equipment including stocking of parts and proper disposal; perform other duties as assigned by regional manager. You Should Have (Qualifications)
Minimum of 5 years of recent professional automotive repair experience Ability to lift up to 50 pounds High school diploma or the equivalent Completion of tech school or proof of alternative work experience ASE certifications (especially on light duty) is a plus Valid driver\'s license (clear background check) Ability to work in a night shift schedule Knowledge of repair shop software (AllData, Mitchell 1, etc) Experience in fleet services and working on panel vans is a plus A desire to provide an extraordinary customer experience Working With Us
