Overview
IDT is seeking a
Sr. Subcontracts Administrator
to be based in our
Arlington, VA
office (hybrid). Leveraging advanced software automation, MBSE, and AI-driven capabilities, IDT accelerates capability development, enhances operational readiness, and reduces lifecycle costs for the Department of Defense. The company is dedicated to transforming defense systems through innovation, efficiency, and mission-critical results. All applicants must be able to obtain/maintain an active U.S. Security Clearance. Responsibilities
Leading the negotiation, execution, and administration of IDT subcontracts and associated subcontracts within their portfolio Advising IDT management on subcontract strategies, obligations, and risks Supporting new business growth by working with program managers and other team members on subcontractor proposal responses and negotiating subcontract awards Lead the communication, maintenance and enhancements of Subcontracts Standard Operating Policies and Procedures Overseeing the evaluation of subcontract performance to determine necessity for amendments or extensions of contracts, and compliance with contractual obligations Manage and maintain Supplier Profiles, Reps and Certs, and other corporate certifications Utilization of competitive procurement processes and sole source justification when necessary Facilitate timely subcontract closeouts Maintaining detailed, audit-ready subcontract files Manage compliance associated with CPSR requirements Other duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications
8+ years of experience in Federal Government subcontracts administration, working in a CPSR certified environment BA/BS Degree or equivalent full-time professional experience Required Skills
Well-versed in CPSR requirements, Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), government prime contract clause flow down requirements, TINA/CCPD and Export Control Regulations Thorough understanding of subcontracting strategies, ability to draft moderate to complex agreements, negotiations and subcontract formation, performance issues, and subcontract closeouts Self-starter with ability to represent function in cross-functional teams, communicate and meet deadlines Preferred Skills
Experience with Costpoint Purchasing or comparable system for Subcontracts/PO administration Experience in subcontracts in support of DOD contracts Experience in determination and verification of FAR Part 12 commercial items Competencies
Organization, with keen attention to detail and accuracy Responsive and proactive communication skills Ability to prioritize, manage deadlines and adapt with evolving business needs Strong analytical skills and solution-focused and team-oriented mindset Ability to assess risks, problems, and issues, and to develop recommended solutions High accountability to self and others EEO Statement
