ESSENTIAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
• Supports validation of analytical and microbiological test methods.
• Performs and documents alert and action limit investigations.
• Maintains and Troubleshooting standard laboratory equipment. Calibration and verification process
of laboratory equipment. Microscopes, Celsis Advance system, UV Vis, Analytical Autotitrator,
FTIR, TOC analyzer, Hoods, pH meter, Conductivity meter, Incubators, Autoclave, Pipettors, Gas
Chromatograph, Centrifuge and Labware.
• Creates and revises procedures, work instructions, and forms as needed.
• Supports and helps manage environmental monitoring program.
• Supports plant project work.
• Properly documents and communicates findings and results to senior management utilizing Excel,
Agile or Infiniti systems.
• Trains personnel on laboratory functions.
• Maintains and monitors chemical hygiene plan.
• Manages incoming raw material receipt and testing.
• Continuous commitment to Safety and Process Based Leadership.
• Provides leadership to QA lab technicians.
• Ensures that the laboratories are always tour ready.
• Works as a back-up Laboratory technician in microbiology and chemistry.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.) • Bachelor's degree in science required, biology, chemistry or microbiology. • Prior experience in Quality or Laboratory environment strongly desired. • Strong written, verbal, and analytical skills. Computer proficiency including Microsoft Office, required. PHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS: (The physical demands described here are representatives of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
