A Typical Day As a
Multi-Unit Team Leader , you will provide leadership over three H&R Block tax offices. You will lead customer-centric teams to accelerate the seasonal tax business. You will serve as the front-line manager responsible for leadership and development of associates, delivering an outstanding client experience, and achieving all office growth objectives for three tax offices. Prior tax preparation experience is not required.
You will start a flexible part-time schedule in the fall to prepare for the busy tax season. From January to April, you will transition to full-time, including evening and weekend hours as needed. Please note that this role is not remote and will require you to work in-person.
Responsibilities
Provide leadership over three offices and accelerate the seasonal tax business by guiding customer-centric teams.
Lead the performance and development of associates; ensure an outstanding client experience and achievement of office growth objectives.
Travel between offices as required.
Prepare tax returns as needed, upon successful completion of the Income Tax Course or Tax Knowledge Assessment (as applicable).
Lead daily team meetings and communicate essential information to tax office associates; develop schedules and ensure accurate timekeeping.
What You Will Bring / Qualifications
Multi-unit people management experience in the retail, restaurant, banking, or related industry.
Ability to grow and develop associates and execute growth plans to foster a growth culture.
Strong decision-making and judgment skills; capability to perform in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-centric mindset.
Computer proficiency with MS Office.
Bachelor's degree in a related field, or high school diploma with the equivalent experience.
Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or Income Tax Course (if preparing tax returns).

Pay The pay range for this position is listed below. Local minimum wage laws apply. Individual pay decisions depend on job-related factors such as experience, education, skill, performance, and geographic location where work will be performed. Eligible associates may participate in one or more incentive compensation or short-term incentive plans, which could generate additional earnings in accordance with the terms of each plan. Qualifying associates can enroll themselves and/or their eligible dependents in medical and prescription drug coverage; can participate in the H&R Block Retirement Savings Plan (401(k) Plan), the Employee Assistance Program, and other benefits; are automatically enrolled in Business Travel Accident Insurance; and receive Associate Tax Prep benefit.
Pay Range:
$15.00 - $40.00/hour
