H&R Block . You’ll provide leadership over three H&R Block tax offices, guiding customer-centric teams to accelerate their seasonal tax business. This front-line management role focuses on leadership and development of associates, delivering an outstanding client experience, and achieving office growth objectives for three offices. You will start with a flexible part-time schedule in the fall to prepare for the busy tax season. From January to April, you will transition to full-time, including evenings and weekends as needed. This role is in-person and not remote. What you’ll do

Provide leadership over three tax offices, guiding teams to grow the seasonal tax business. Serve as the front-line manager responsible for leadership and development of associates, delivering an outstanding client experience, and achieving all office growth objectives for three offices. Lead daily team meetings and communicate essential information to tax office associates. Create associate work schedules across all offices, ensure accurate timekeeping, and manage labor for associates in all offices. Travel between offices as required. Prepare tax returns as needed, after successful completion of the Income Tax Course or Tax Knowledge Assessment. Partner with the District General Manager (DGM) to execute office-level growth plans and client growth targets (including developing local partnerships and coordinating office community involvement). Assist DGM in recruiting and interviewing candidates for tax office positions. Conduct timely performance reviews and coordinate with Associate Relations Center to address performance concerns. Build an engaging team environment across offices by training and coaching associates and recognizing outstanding contributions. Qualifications and Your Expertise

People management experience with a track record of growing and developing associates. Ability to execute growth plans and drive a growth-centric culture. Strong decision-making and judgment skills; able to operate in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-centric mindset to understand and exceed client needs. Computer proficiency with MS Office. Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or a high school diploma with equivalent experience. Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or Income Tax Course (if preparing tax returns). Why work for us
