Performance Improvement Methods Program Manager is responsible for supporting the alignment of Performance Improvement methods to ensure successful achievement of system goals and priorities. This includes facilitating improvement initiatives, cross‑functional collaboration, data storytelling, and ensuring high performance through data‑driven decision‑making. The role blends responsibilities from system‑level leadership to project‑based performance improvement through the effective application of Performance Improvement methodology.
Qualifications Required
Bachelor's Degree
At least 10 years of experience in clinical, quality management, or healthcare improvement roles
Demonstrated experience in performance improvement, quality measure reporting, and supporting cross‑functional teams
Preferred
Knowledge of Vizient Clinical Database, CMS stars, EPIC and Cogito preferred
Master's Degree preferred
Lean Six Sigma Black Belt preferred, CPHQ, CPPS, CPXP, or equivalent highly desired
Essential Functions
Apply Performance Improvement methods to support goal setting, as well as process, outcomes, and proxy measures, cascading to sites and service lines.
Partner with equity, high reliability and safety, patient experience, and regulatory.
Serve as a connector to other Performance Improvement business units for a cohesive system approach.
Lead and support hospital‑wide and system‑wide performance improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and other improvement science methodologies.
Provide education, coaching, and mentorship in quality and Performance Improvement methods.
Coordinate regular communications with internal and external stakeholders. Lead and participate in key committees and forums.
Facilitate conversations across all staff levels, enabling organizational learning and ownership of performance metrics.
