Manager of Patient Experience & Performance Improvement
Summary
Volunteer nurse manager role focused on driving an environment of patient-centered care while improving patient and family experience.
Responsibilities
Translate information from objective and subjective patient experience assessments into actionable behaviors; identify opportunities and use Lean Six Sigma tools to sharpen understanding of the customer base and improve each customer touchpoint.
Lead patient experience and performance improvement strategies proactively in collaboration with other leaders and staff at the organization.
Provide education to and drive best practice among various care team members, including physicians and clinical and non‑clinical staff.
Formulate, summarize, and publish patient experience survey results; oversee the complaint and grievance process.
Requirements
Completion of an accredited Registered Nurse program.
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in a related field (required).
Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in a related field (preferred).
Certified Patient Experience Professional (CPXP) (preferred).
Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) (preferred).
Three (3) years of clinical experience in an acute care setting with demonstrated management or leadership abilities.
Experience in patient advocacy or complaint/grievance management (preferred).
One (1) year of quality or performance improvement experience, including data analysis and management.
Lean Six Sigma knowledge or certification preferred or will be sought within the first two years of employment.
Compensation
$100,526 to $145,766 Annual Salary.
